We study George Silver’s English short sword technique from his “Paradoxes of Defense” (1599), German longsword from Johannes Liechtenauer’s system of “Kunst des Langenschwert” (14th - 17th c) and Italian rapier from the work of Ridolfo Capo Ferro “Il Gran Simulacro dell’ Arte e dell’uso della Scherma” (1610). We also train with sword and shield, spear and a variety of other weapons and techniques.
